Introducing...
Zinhle Sithebe
My name is Zinhle Sithebe and I am known as the artist Zee feels. I'm a freelance illustrator and graphic artist. I create bold patterns and figures that celebrate my love for african pattern, culture, black joy, women and self-love. I'm a little colour obsessed when it comes to
my work and it feels right everytime. 💛
L'Occitane wanted to celebrate the things that make our country beautiful with the wonderful places collection. I wanted to show case the beauty that is in nature, our cultures and our wildlife. A celebration of local beauty through naturality but in a bright and bold way. It needed to be feel fun and joyful and that's something I
do well.
I created a pattern that is Ndebele inspired with a twist. It helps further translate the pride for the country with its striking colour combinations and familiar shapes that remind me of the diverse cultures we have in South Africa.
