REDUCING PLASTIC WASTE
Plasticity. is a small upcycling business based in the Karoo. Founded in 2017, we were inspired to begin using plastic waste materials to create useful, and even beautiful, handmade products. We see plastic waste differently and add value to this overlooked resource by upcycling it into bags of all shapes and designs. The upcycled material we create is handmade by fusing plastic together in layers using heat, we can create varied designs using different colours and textures of plastic waste. We use organic hemp in combination with upcycled plastic. Hemp is eco-friendly and a great fabric to work with. It's one of the most durable natural fibers available to us and has great anti-bacterial properties too!
