L'OCCITANE CARES ABOUT SIGHT

L'OCCITANE CARES ABOUT SIGHT

COMMITTED TO FIGHT AVOIDABLE BLINDNESS

In 2000, L’OCCITANE international launched the UNION FOR VISION 10by20 Programme. Inspired by the work of the L’OCCITANE Foundation in their continuous fight against avoidable blindness, L’OCCITANE South Africa engages in local partnerships since October 2015.
This Christmas, we will fund raise money to support our partnership with CBM UK, whose project focuses on upskilling eye surgeons to improve surgical outcomes and quality for people at risk of avoidable blindness in under-served areas. The aim is to reduce morbidity from cataract and glaucoma in South Africa through an innovative surgical training unit. This will take place in Cape Town in 2018-2019 and will result in improved practices by surgeons in our hospitals related to cataracts and glaucoma.

R 50 from the sale of each Gift Set will be donated to support this project. All Gift Sets are marked with the “L’OCCITANE Cares” logo online and in-store.
