  • So fresh and clean

Although this shampoo doesn't lather up like a normal shampoo it still leaves hair feeling so clean afterwards, much cleaner than a normal shampoo would. It doesn't leave any residue. I have very thick hair that normally takes a long time to dry, using this shampoo and conditioner my hair seems to dry much quicker as there is no residue building up on my hair.

  • Great shampoo

This shampoo is for my husband who has trouble to flaky scalp. He is very pleased with it's performance and continues to asks for more once it needs replenishing - having gone through many brands (which I end up having to finish), this is a huge plus and a compliment to L'Occitane.

  • Really lovely results

I tried this shampoo for the first time and there are pros and cons. If you are used to shampoos that produce suds, this shampoo will seem odd, more like conditioner but the foamy type shampoos contain chemical nasties which enable it to foam and getting out of that mindset improves the view of the performance of this shampoo. It doesn’t produce foam but it cleans and nourishes very effectively. I find you need two washes unless you wash your hair daily, in which case one is enough. Spread evenly through wetted hair and give a good scrub and leave on for a while and rinse clean. In conjunction with the conditioner, this is a really lovely shampoo. I think if L’Occitane put more into explaining in the product description how this shampoo works, customers would know what to expect and not feel disappointed. Reading other reviews, I have to say that I wholeheartedly disagree that four lots of shampooing is needed, I have long thick hair, I wash x3 weekly and two shampoos is plenty.

  • Disappointed

I am so disappointed with this product. I am a huge loccitane fan and have loved every product I’ve tried but not this. This does not foam, I need to wash my hair about four times and even then it does not feel very nice. Definitely would not recommend.

  • Not impressed with this product AT ALL.

If you are expecting a soapy shampoo for your hair, think again. Once you apply it to your hair, your hair may immediately absorb the 'shampoo'. It's almost like conditioner! As am I someone who has been using this product for my hair, once I pump the product onto my hands ready to scrub it in my hair, I sometimes have to recheck that I haven't put conditioner in my hair. It's like CONDITIONER. I now have to use triple the amount of soap for my hair for it to actually become clean. Not happy with this product at all.

  • Great for dry coloured hair

I was previously using the Repairing shampoo for dry hair, and have found that this is even more nourishing for my coloured hair. I would totally recommend this for anyone with coloured hair, as it cleans without stripping the hair.

  • Takes a while to get used to and see some results

Firstly know this is not a typical shampoo - it is a lotion. It is like putting something that has the consistency of moisturiser on your hair when in the shower. This product does not lather at all. I have long thick hair and I have to use four pumps of the product to work it through my hair ( I have to use so much as the shampoo doesn’t lather). To be honest the first few times I used this shampoo I was disappointed but now that I am on go 3 it seems to finally be working. My hair is now soft and nourished - very much so. But after the first few goes it was not. Perhaps it takes a while. Now that it is working yes I like it but you have to use a lot of product so not for the budget conscious. This product is worth a try if you have dry hair and a sensitive scalp.

  • Sulfate FREE is a good thing!

This shampoo is recommended for all hair types, and to be honest, it is probably the healthiest for your hair as it doesn’t contain sulfate. This is the reason it does not lather up. Sulfate is used in shampoos to help it spread easily over the whole head, which is why people like to go for those sorts of shampoos, as it feels like they’re getting a better clean out of it. The thing is, sulfate is actually damaging to the hair to a certain extent and can add to frizz. Also, a coin sized portion of shampoo containing sulfate actually does not give your hair a better wash than a coin sized portion of sulfate free shampoo. It is harder to spread, yes, which is why some people use a very small amount of shampoo containing sulfate before using the sulfate free to do the actual cleaning, as sometimes it can help spread the shampoo a bit better. I personally like this shampoo as it keeps my hair tame and I don’t feel the need to heat style as often to stop it from looking wild.

  • AMAZING

This shampoo is great! It will not lather but that's the point of a sulphate free shampoo. The results are even more noticeable when you don't skip the conditioner. In love.
