Always sensitive to the transmission of the region’s rich cultural heritage, the L'OCCITANE Museum celebrates the arrival of spring with an exhibition on the world of fragrance creation. In the footsteps of the International Perfume Museum in Grasse, this event subtly highlights the exceptional legacy that has made the reputation and character of the perfume capital.
Rose, jasmine, violet, orange blossom, mimosa and iris reveal themselves, in the happy conjunction proposed by the soil, climate and know-how so characteristic of Grasse. More than a trail through a unique world, this exhibition traces the history of men and women who have influenced the evolution of perfumery, to the point of establishing it as an art more than a craft.
A spotlight that intends, notably, to support this exceptional heritage, from the culture of the plants to the composition of this seductive nectar, and up to the inclusion of the Grasse region in the intangible cultural heritage of France, then of humanity. A lovely tribute to discover without delay!
